Some Thanks

I have left this blog to gather dust for far too long I suppose.  I have actually been working pretty hard in the 3d regard but have neglected the blog unfortunately.

I'm still working on the actual website.  It's a lot harder than one would assume to set up a site where items can be paid for and DOWNLOADED - only after being paid for.  I now have a very competent person working on that end for me so I am optimistic.

I've spent a good portion of the last year just learning about modeling.  Working with different programs and trying to find which would fit best in a workflow for me.  I've settled on C4D and Zbrush.  In that regard I have had an immense amount of assistance, advice and support from many people in the community.  I can not give them enough credit, however I believe it would be appropriate to take a moment here and do my best in that regard:

There has always been

Paul Zanca, owner and creator for Flesh Forge, a good friend and brilliant 3d artist.  I've had the pleasure of working with him in the past on a few different items as well as had the good luck to be able to test many of his excellent products.  I would not be anywhere close to where I am now without Paul.

Vilters from Renderosity, who while very opinionated, lol, has been a treasure trove of useful information for me and always responds to messages quickly and with detail.

English Bob - a regular forum poster and the guy behind Morphography.  Who offers a wealth of FREE information and 3d items on his website.  He took the time to respond to an email I sent thanking him and also kindly informed me that my blog had broken links.  lol.  If not for him I would not be making the progress I am today, nor would I be typing out this post.

Blackhearted (Gabriel) whom I'm sure you all know as the artist behind GND4, Shae, Anastasia and Tyler.  Who took the time to respond to private messages and was kind enough to advise me of a great utility that has been useful to him.  GoZ.  And directed me to the creator of that utility.

Hannes.  Who even though he had recently moved, took the time to locate the utility and send me a copy.  As well as instructions on how to use it.

Keith Young - The man who runs Spankis Propshop and the man behind plug ins like Rip Tide and Morph Mill.  Who not only answered questions for me but took the time to write out full and detailed tutorials for me and did his best to assist me in finding a solution to a problem I encountered.

and most significantly
Robert Templeton the genius responsible for InterPoser Pro.  His products can be found at Kuroyume's Development Zone.  Who not only took the time to respond to my elementary questions but went as far as to create a new plug in for C4D that would address the issues I was having.

I honestly believe the community to be the best aspect of the 3d Art world.  I'm not sure if I could go to any other industry and have top people willing to share information and assist someone just up and coming.  Not only that, but the level of support and encouragement is simply astonishing to me on a daily basis.

For all that I have mentioned here there are many many more, so many that I just can't name them all and give the credit deserved.

I hope anyone who has taken the time to read through this will follow the links provided and have a look at all the wonderful products these folks offer.  I promise, none of these will disappoint.

With all that said.  I am still here.  You can always contact me at velocity3d@gmail.com, even if I do let this blog go neglected at times.
